RETROFIT YOUR EXISTING TRUCK WITH SAM BOOST
The backlog for new trucks is 3+ years right now, which means everyone is making due with their existing trucks for longer than intended as well as missing out on new engineering that could greatly improve efficiency on scene.
- For rural/volunteer departments with no help or mutual aid, a retro-fitted SAM BOOST system can take a 2-3 person crew on scene and make it function like a 3-4 person crew.
- For small departments who experience high turnover and challenges to recruitment, SAM BOOST similarly helps multiply the force on scene as well as aid in recruitment efforts to technologically-native recruits.
- For well-funded cities and larger fleets, SAM BOOST represents an efficient and cost effective way to try this remarkably engineered automatic water flow system prior to specifying it on new trucks.
HOW DOES SAM BOOST WORK?
SAM BOOST is essentially just three components:
Smart Nozzle

Fire Truck

Smart Governor

SAM Smart Nozzle uses RF communication to the vehicle antenna, along with the UV450 Smart Governor are the heart of SAM BOOST.

HOW SAM BOOST INSTALLED in 7 STEPS
- STEP 1: Replace the preconnect valve
- STEP 2: Replace the tank to pump valve (same process as the preconnect valve)
- STEP 3: Replace the governor
- STEP 4: Install radio and antenna
- STEP 5: Install water tank level transducer
- STEP 6: Install sealed relay and recirculation valve
- STEP 7: Install governor transducer on pump
In less than a week of downtime, your existing fire truck’s pump operations can be transformed with a remarkably engineered solution that can get water to even the smallest attack crew faster, simpler, and safer.
