Our standards
SAM uses only SAE J1939 automotive standards, the same standards that the heavy vehicle industry has used for 20+ years. Every fire truck is already driving on the electrical technology that is used by SAM, with no engine or transmission mechanical linkage.
SAM is engineered as a complete system with a one-piece, factory grade harness in a style commonly used for engine and chassis components. That standardization means the wire harness is never spliced, and every SAM exceeds the same exacting quality controls. SAM makes zero modifications to existing water flow apparatus, with valves manufactured by fellow trusted IDEX Fire & Safety brand Akron Brass, a century-strong leader in the industry.
Trust your truck to drive? Then you can trust it to pump.
