Smart Nozzle

The industry-disrupting SAM Smart Nozzle, with patent-pending N2P Technology, empowers nozzle operators with more information and direct control than they’ve ever had before. With water tank level information always in hand, attack crews can be fully confident and aggressive knowing they have enough water to operate safely.

Tablet

The SAM Tablet is designed to allow freedom of movement around the truck and allow the operator to be positioned where they can be most effective. It is not intended to be a long distance control device and each department should establish appropriate operating procedures for your department. Reliable operation has been tested and proven from normal pump operator positions on the fireground. The SAM Tablet communicates on a closed WiFi network that is dedicated to only the tablet and not able to be used for anything else. It is especially useful for aerial operations, drafting, and relay pumping on the fireground.

Monitor Integration

The SAM Monitor Integration adds integrated monitor controls into The SAM Control Center. It deploys monitor to zones on SAM Control Center, speeding delivery of water. The interlock prevents valve from being opened when monitor is stowed and/or riser is lowered, and the monitor can be controlled from optional tablet. Stream reach adjustments on The SAM Control Center adjust pressure in 5psi increments for maximum control. Camera input can be used to aide aiming of monitor on UV1100 only and this configuration allows easy programming of oscillation.

Third Screen

The SAM Third Screen includes an additional screen along with the system-standard two screens that allow pumping from either side of the truck. The two-screen system allows the pump operator to pump from a safe location or be where you can see the fire at all times while running the pump. A third screen can be beneficial for some apparatuses, like those with closed pump houses or aerial rigs. The SAM Third Screen on a closed pump house truck keeps the pump operator safe and focused while pumping from inside the cab in cold or wet weather. On an aerial, apparatus, the third screen goes up on the turntable.

SAM

Foam and CAFs

The SAM Foam Integration configures The Full SAM System to integrate seamlessly with the Class 1 Smart Foam system. If you have the Smart Foam system on your Full SAM System Truck, you will have a Smart Foam controller on The SAM Pump Panel as well. It will contain all the functionality of a full foam system. With the SAM system you will be able to integrate foam settings and set pressures into a single preset on The SAM Screens.

The Full SAM System integrates seamlessly with the Class 1 Smart CAFS system. Pump operator mistakes happen when operating CAFS systems, causing line chatter, improper mixes, nozzle reaction, and hose kinks. The Full SAM System’s interlock features take the guess work out of CAFS and keep operators from making most mistakes. SAM ensures smooth and consistent running CAFS lines.

Screen Covers

The SAM Screen Cover protects The SAM Pump Panel screen from damage and debris. The Screen Cover flips up when the pump panel is in use and flips back down when not in use.

The SAM Manual Electric Valve Controls can be added to any discharge and auxiliary suction on a SAM system as a redundant control, creating total confidence in the operator’s ability to revert to manual pump operations at any time. The Manual Electric Valve Controls are optional with The Full SAM System.
